At Gelindo mosaic is at home. Since we opened the workshop for beginners (more than 15 years ago) some of the most brilliant artists who have attended the European School of Mosaic in Spilimbergo have shared their passion with our young and old guests. The courses are organized for groups during the holidays or during school time for educational farm activities dedicated to the classes. You can compose an individual mosaic or a group one and take it home as a souvenir.
A world-famous training center, the mosaic school of Spilimbergo is the custodian of an artistic tradition that probably has its origins in Roman times, as evidenced by the archaeological mosaic finds still visible in many places in the Region (Aquileia, Cividale del Friuli, Trieste, etc.). The mosaic school of Friuli aims to enhance the art of mosaic through study, research, experimentation, the use of new technologies and the encounter with contemporary artists of great depth.
